Clover's book should be considered THE book on redefining the horror genre. She presents, in great detail, how horror movies are not about the viewer identifying with the killer, but rather, with the victim hero/heroine. She focuses on a few movies in particular. "I Spit on Your Grave" and "Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2" among others, are used to present convincing evidence of her major thesis. A MUST read for anyone who is into films or horror movies in general.
